[AIW] ANN: Mainz University launching Center for Comparative Indigenous Studies

Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to announce that Gerald Vizenor and Deborah
Madsen will hold a joint lecture and discussion at Mainz University,
Germany, on March 16, 2011, at 6 p.m. Everyone interested is most
cordially invited.

The event will also mark the launching of the University of Mainz's
"Center for Comparative Indigenous Studies," the only academic
institution of its kind in Germany.

Professor Vizenor's and Professor Madsen's lecture (and the discussion
with the Center's director, Prof. Dr. Mita Banerjee) will take place
at the P 1 lecture hall of the Philosophy Building on campus. For
