INDIANER INUIT: THE NORTH AMERICA FILMFESTIVAL

In less than three weeks, the INDIANER INUIT: THE NORTHAMERICA FILMFESTIVAL will present its multi-faceted program of films

 

The eighth annual INDIANER INUIT: THE NORTH AMERICA FILMFESTIVAL is just around the corner. Under the headline “Dreams Have No Borders”, it will open its doors from February 6-9, 2020 at the TREFFPUNKT Rotebühlplatz, Stuttgart (Germany).

 

The festival hosts a number of additional events starting on February 3, 2020, such as photography exhibition by artist Cara Romero including an artist talk with the photographer on February 3 at 7:15 p.m. at the d.a.i. Furthermore, visitors are invited to listen to Drew Hayden Taylor’s presentation on Contemporary Indigenous Storytelling, experience the performance of the Inuit-duo Piqsiq and the jingle dancer Acosia Red Elk at the Linden-Museum Stuttgart as well as visit a workshop for teachers.  The filmfestival team also offers a book-stand based on Native American Literature.

 

At the beginning of February, the INDIANER INUIT: THE NORTH AMERICA FILMFESTIVAL will present its extensive and varied program of feature films, short films, documentaries as well as music videos. The children’s films will be shown on February 6 and 7 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. After the official opening on February 6, visitors are invited to enjoy the feature films “Falls Around Her”.
